Seasonal Demand for Urgent Appointments

We have made extra appointments available to assist with the seasonal demand. This is on top of our usual appointments and the daily sit and wait surgeries. These appointments will be available to book via the online system, by phone or in person.

Measles Alert

If you think you have measles please call ahead for advice first. If you have symptoms such as high fever, rash- sometimes around the ears, sore red eyes, cough, aching and feeling unwell it could be Measles and you will need to be placed in an area where an infection cannot be passed onto vulnerable patients. Please do not come to the surgery without phoning first.

Important:

Free Travel Vaccinations

The following travel vaccinations are usually available free on the NHS

- diptheria, polio and tetnus (combinded booster)

- typhoid

-hepatitis A

These vaccinations will only be administered when you bring written proof from your travel health information provider that you need these for your trip(s). Please also bring any records of previous travel vaccinations.

You must make the initial appointment 6-8 weeks before you travel.
